This is beautiful and feels amazing on the skin. The shimmer is the perfect amount. You do not need to be rich in melanin to use this product. I am very fair skin and this looks amazing on my skin color as well. It's very hydrating and absorbs pretty good. I do not like oily feeling, was scared this would feel oily and it was not. I will give this a five star because of overall quality. It rubs in like butter and is OH SO moisturizing. I highly recommend if you love feeling moisturized and every inch of you cared for with a body oil. Just don't put it on with a shower before you go to bed and lay down in your bed.
