They will fit over the silicone boots on the bottom as well, but fit very snugly. It takes a bit of elbow grease to get these on, but they are SO WORTH IT! Gotta have all THE THINGS!

I like that this wine bottle opener can be charged on the stand, making it always ready to perform. No worry about batteries or needing a charge before the dinner/party. It's handy to have the foil cutter and aerator beside the bottle opener and the stoppers which use the end of the bottle opener to remove air from partial bottles for temporary storage were a plus!
