The new Les Paul featured a double cutaway that allowed full access to the entire fingerboard with such ease and comfort, two Hum bucking pickups, a tune o matic bridge, block inlays , & a stop tailpiece or vibrato. Gibson honored Les Paul's request in late 1963 to remove his name
