The rubber fixture holds the part in the through hole while it is bonded in place with our acrylic adhesive. The fixture keeps the threads clean during bonding. Remove the rubber fixture when you are ready to make up the assembly. The threaded nut floats allowing accurate bolt alignment. Use for all types of mounting applications.

Performs as advertised, a simple upright divider. I use it to mark my "office" space when working from home. Assembly was straightforward and well documented. One person can do it, but a second person can be helpful when sliding the fabric divider pieces onto their poles. Part quality is fine for the price point. The only mild annoyance is that the upright poles can start getting loose from the metal feet, and need to be retightened occasionally (Allen wrench is included, keep it handy for retightening). It's fairly lightweight and easy to reposition, but the feet are heavy enough to keep it steady once placed. All in all, a good product. I was pleased enough to buy a second one when my son wanted something to block sunlight from behind his computer desk.
