The front seam fixed loop helmet shell was manufactured by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan. The lot number is concealed beneath the interior's field repaint; however, judging by the earlier style fixed loops and cast brass buckle carried over from the M1917A1, it likely dates from mid 1941 to mid 1942.
