The tuna cord provides a secure hold for your self locating snap and is easier on your hands when pulling your gear to the boat. The Scotty Snubber absorbs shock, provides electrical insulation and helps prevent snags (models 377 & 378). Tubing has been added to provide protection against abrasion in high wear areas.

I rarely get insurance on flights or trips but when I bought my steam generator, I just thought why not, I use this thing almost every other day.
