EMS Alto Cornamuse KitWe are delighted to introduce a new range of cornamuse, the first of a series of exciting new projects between EMS and Jo Kunath. The cornamuse is a windcap instrument, which resembles a straight crumhorn. Both instruments have a similar range but the cornamuse has a slightly softer tone due in part to its closed bell, which allows it to blend well with other instruments such as recorders. Our new SATB cornamusen are also available in kit form for

Nice translation
Format: Paperback
It is not easy to translate poetry into poetry. It's bad enough simply trying to translate to prose. Ms. Terry does an excellent job. I read Le Roman de Renart in French while I was studying in France. Years later, I came across this translation. It is fascinating the way the original storytellers portrayed Renart. He is a completely hateful creature. Yet reading about him is fun. It's similar to how I feel about stories of Loki or Coyote. Renart is closer to Loki than to Coyote, despite the canine ancestry. He is more than simply a trickster: he is malevolent. If you have an interest in ancient folktales, you mustn't miss the story of Renart. This translation is different from any other I've read. The introduction gives a good perspective on the times when the stories were hatched.

Pretty good translation into English. Far from a complete collection, but certainly a good foundation.

Made for certain readers. 🤔
Format: Kindle
Not saying it is a bad book but... I could not understand it. If you like old English writing great! I support you in that but this book was not for me.

Old and crumbling.
Format: Hardcover
practically falling apart. Hard to read when the book is dissolving.
